Aaah trail running, the sport we're hearing more and more about but which often makes us think it's reserved for a certain elite of sports enthusiasts. Think again, trail running is much more accessible than you might think, and it has an enormous number of benefits for your body and your health!

We'll tell you more...

1. Trail running to disconnect and clear your mind

Do you too find it hard to disconnect from your thoughts, your daily routine, your job and your responsibilities of all kinds? Don't worry, it's normal, and I'm no different. So I'm constantly on the lookout for new sports and hobbies that allow me to switch off during the day and recharge my batteries. And that's when I discovered trail running!
Trail running is a sport that allows you to clear your mind and forget everything for the duration of the run, because you end up running in the middle of nature, and there's nothing better than that for escaping!

2. Enjoy the benefits of nature

A love of nature is one of the main motivations for runners. Running far from the city, passing no cars and hearing no noise other than your own breath, running in the middle of nature, in the forest, in the mountains or on isolated paths - what a thrill!

As you progress through your sessions, you'll be able to take in the sights and come away with some lovely memories.

And you know what they say: nature will always be your best medicine! To test it is to approve it.

3. Running without getting bored

Have you ever found yourself in the middle of a run and bored after just a few kilometres? Tired of the route you've already taken 56 times, tired of running at the same pace as yesterday and tomorrow...

It's impossible to get bored on a trail! The scenery and varied routes make running a bit more fun and challenging. Between climbing and descending, running and walking, jumping over obstacles to avoid branches, the trail will allow you to run while breaking the monotony and that's really cool!

4. Trail running is good for your health!

Apart from the fact that nature is the best remedy for the stresses of everyday life, trail running is a way of working your whole body! The climbs will work your calves, the descents will give you thighs of steel, and the difficulty of the terrain will work your abdominal muscles and promise you great chocolate bars.

So, still not convinced?
